By the opening of the 2017 season, Fluor Field will be adding several new fan amenities, enhancing the already impressive ballpark.
In a joint press conference between Greenville Drive Owner Craig Brown and Greenville Mayor Knox White, enhancements were announced for the Main Street and Field Street entrance plazas, added seating atop the Green Monster, a new club-area extension on the suite level, additions to the Fieldhouse and the addition of a Ticket Plan Holder Lounge.
“It ensures that Fluor Field stays fresh and a place of pride for the community,” says Eric Jarinko, general manager of the Greenville Drive. “Fluor Field is not only a premiere venue in Downtown Greenville, but is highly regarded across professional basis. It’s our objective to always keep Fluor Field hip and cool, and a place that this community can be proud of.”
Since its groundbreaking in 2005, Fluor Field has become an established part of the Greenville community, the West End and is a beacon of what a great public-private partnership is all about. In 2016, significant audio and visual renovations took place with the addition of a larger video board and state-of-the-art audio system.
“In short, we have always tried to maintain a Major League look and feel to Fluor Field, while delivering the access and intimacy that makes Minor League Baseball so appealing,” says Greenville Drive Owner Craig Brown.
